Long-standing musical partners, Laufey Sigurdardóttir (violin) and Elísabet Waage (harp), have released an album entitled Serena. The title song was written by Icelandic composer Leifur Thórarinsson.

Another song on the album, “Haustlauf” or “Autumn Leaf,” was also written especially for Sigurdardóttir and Waage, by Icelandic composer Mist Thorkelsdóttir. The other songs on the album are by Boieldieu, Spohr and Rossini.
Sigurdardóttir and Waage have performed concerts both in the Netherlands and in Iceland. Last summer they played at the 10th international convention of harpists in Amsterdam. Serena was released by Smekkleysa.
