Icelandic Trawler Collides with Iceberg by Greenland

The Icelandic trawler Eldborg from Reykjavík is headed for harbor in Iceland after damage to its oil tank due to a collision with an iceberg by the Greenland coast. Fire fighters, divers and other specialists await the ship in Hafnarfjördur harbor according to mbl.is.

The damage to the ship is not considered to be very serious, even though some oil may have leaked out. An employee of the harbor said that he anticipated it would not take long to stop the leak. First divers will fill the hole and then the Eldborg will be taken to a dock before resuming fishing.
