Icelandic Teenager Searched in Denmark

An 18-year-old Icelandic citizen, Ívar Jörgensson, who has lived in Denmark for the past 11 years, has been missing since Sunday. Danish police are currently searching for him in the northern part of Jutland where he was last seen.

The case was covered on Danish TV station TV2 yesterday.

According to Morgunbladid, the boy’s father, Jörgen Erlingsson, said his son had been out partying with his friends last weekend. His car was found, but the gas tank was empty and the keys were in the ignition.

Erlingsson believes his son got lost and had planned to walk to the nearest town.
