According to the report Northern Lights on PISA 2006, presented at a conference at Grand Hótel in Reykjavík which ended yesterday, the performance of Icelandic, Danish and Norwegian students is below the average of OECD states.
The report was undertaken for the Nordic Council of Ministers and compares the performance of Nordic students in 2006 with their performance in 2000 and 2003, Morgunbladid reports.
The report reveals that Finnish students deliver the best performance compared to the other Nordic countries and Swedish students are in a good position in regard to the reorganization of the educational system.
