Icelandic Singer Co-Founder of Opera Company

Icelandic opera singer Sigrídur Ella Magnúsdóttir is in a group of opera artists who recently established the Co-Operative Opera Company in London with the purpose of giving young artists the chance to work with the best.

The group includes singers, conductors, directors, choreographers and actors of international fame and many of Britains most respected musicians, such as Felicity Lott and Thomas Allen, teach the Co-Opera-Co courses, Morgunbladid reports.

“I was included in the group as a voice coach because I have a reputation as a singing teacher for being able to solve various voice problems,” said Magnúsdóttir. The opera singer has a successful international career behind her and has lived in London for years.
