Icelandic middle distance track athlete Aníta Hinkriksdóttir set a new Icelandic and European record (for girls 19 years and under) for the 800-meter run at the indoor Icelandic Championships on Sunday, 2:01.77.
Aníta also won the 400-meter run on Saturday, Vísir reports.
Kolbeinn Höður Gunnarsson set a new Icelandic record for the 200-meter run and Hrafnhild Eir R. Hermóðsdóttir set a new record for the 60-meter run.
