Icelandic Presidential Couple Attend US Symposiums

President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson will participate in three symposiums in New York and Washington this week, while his wife, Dorrit Mousaieff, will attend a symposium on autism. Mousaieff is the patron of an Icelandic documentary project on autism.

After the symposium, Mousaieff will dine with Queen Rania of Jordan and Wendi Murdoch, Morgunbladid reports.

At the Clinton Institution’s world congress on financial markets and public interests, Grímsson will speak at a panel discussion at the invitation of former US President Bill Clinton.

The president will also participate in a leadership dialogue at the National Energy Summit & International Dialogue, September 23-24, according to prnewswire.com.
