Icelandic Music Awards awarded last night

Emilíana Torrini and Sigur Rós each received three awards at the Icelandic Music Awards last night. Emilíana’s album Fisherman’s Woman was chosen Pop Album of the Year. She was also chosen Best Female Vocal Artist of the Year and received an award for the Video of the Year. Sigu Rós’ album, Takk, was chosen Rock Album of the Year. Sigur Rós also won for Performer of the Year and an award for the Best Album Cover.
