The tenth 2013 Masters’ League in Horse Sports (Meistaradeild í hestaíþróttum) kicked off in Hveragerði yesterday evening.

The series of seven tournaments are indoor competitions held every other Thursday evening from January 31 to the end of April, usually in the riding hall Ölfushöllin. The riders are among Iceland’s best.
The four-gait competition was held yesterday, the first tournament of seven.
A total of eight teams are competing at this year’s event with 32 horses and riders being listed.
