Icelandic Gaming Company Makes Breakthrough Deal

Icelandic computer game producer Gogogic has made an agreement with the producer of two of the largest online computer games for children in the world. The agreement is worth at least USD 1 million (ISK 120 million, EUR 760,000).

Gogogic is working on two projects, the update of one game and an addition to another. “We cannot, at this point, reveal who our client is,” CEO of Gogogic Jónas Björgvin Antonsson told mbl.is.

“In the gaming industry it is very important to choose the right timing to present new games or additions to games and therefore we cannot compromise the marketing,” he explained.

Antonsson said this could turn into a breakthrough agreement for the company. “These games have millions of active users and if we are successful we might work on further projects for the client.”
