An artisanal food market will be held in Harpa concert hall and conference center in Reykjavík over the weekend. More than 40 farmers, fishermen and artisanal producers will showcase their goods at the two day event.
This is the fourth time that the event is held and this year will be the biggest yet, according to organizer Eirný Sigurðardóttir at Búrið – The Icelandic Pantry.
The event is described as “a celebration which showcases fantastic Icelandic foods, the people that produce it and all the nibbles and noshes required for a winter feast.”
The market will be open from 11 am to 5 pm on both days.
