A video with a new song by comedian and environmentalist Ómar Ragnarsson, starring him and singer Egill Ólafsson (from the band Stuðmenn), filmed mostly in Iceland, has just been released on YouTube. The video promotes electrical bikes and clean energy, covering Ómar’s trip on an electrical bike from Reykjavík to Geysir. It also briefly shows scenes from Germany, Austria and Ethiopia.

This is Ómar’s first song in English. He explains the urgency of his message is such that he felt compelled to sing in English. Shouting through a megaphone on Grímsey island wouldn’t have been noticed anywhere, he tells RÚV.
