According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is described as a post-alien invasion thriller, as has been compared to District 9 and Moon.

David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are set to produce the film and James Mangold to direct.

Ólafur co-wrote and directed City State (Borgríki).
