Icelandic Company Signs Agreement with Chinese Hospital

A delegation from Wan Jia Yuan China Geriatric Hospital signed an agreement yesterday with Icelandic research company Mentis Cura on the use of the company’s software for diagnosing Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Minister of health Kristján Þór Júlíusson was present at the signing of the agreement, which took place at the Culture House in Reykjavík.

The hospital is the first specializing in geriatric care in China, visir.is reports.

The facility has 1,200 beds, 400 of which are for Alzheimer’s patients. The hospital boasts 100 international staff.
