Icelandic celebrity photographer Benni Valsson opened his first major exhibition in the country in Ketilhús in Akureyri on Saturday.

Benni has photographed both local and international celebrities for the past 15 years.
The exhibition consists of 57 photographs of stars including Björk, Leonardo DiCaprio, Patti Smith, Naomi Watts, Robbie Williams and Bruce Willis, Fréttablaðið reports.
Benni, who has been based in Paris since 1985, has worked for GQ, Elle France, Le Monde and Libération, to name a few.
His family moved back to Iceland two years ago and Benni says he now spends his time between Akureyri, Paris and London.
Benni is currently working on an advertising campaign for UK television station Channel 4.
The exhibition runs through August 26.
