Few people are aware that hundreds of vehicles that were made in Iceland are currently cruising the country’s roads. Those interested in learning more about Icelandic car production can attend an exposition today at the Toppstödin innovation center.
At the exposition between 25 and 30 vehicles will be on show, including sports cars, electric cars, jeeps, buses and trucks. Their creators will be in attendance to answer questions from visitors.
Visitors can also look at the innovation center itself, which is facilitated in the old power station in Ellidaárdalur in Reykjavík and opened in December 2009. It is now a workshop for designers and industrial workers involved in various innovative projects.
The exposition will take place at Toppstödin on Rafstödvarvegur 4, Ellidaárdalur, between 1 pm and 5 pm. Admission is free.
