The Iceland Weather Report by Icelandic blogger Alda Sigmundsdóttir has been nominated for the 2009 Weblog Awards (Bloggies) as Best European Blog. The Weather Report was also nominated in that category last year.
According to the jury, the Iceland Weather Report is among the five best weblogs in Europe and now readers have to choose the winner. Readers can vote for their favorite blog on the 2009 Bloggies website until February 2.
Sigmundsdóttir recently added an interview section to her blog on how Iceland should be reconstructed after the collapse of the economy and on Thursday she launched the first forum on Iceland in English.
