A video featuring the song ‘No Good’ with the Icelandic rock band Kaleo from Mosfellsbær was released today, RÚV reports. The song has been used to introduce the HBO program Vinyl, produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger.
Kaleo lead singer Jökull Júlíusson told Rolling Stone, “We were so thrilled to be included on the Vinyl soundtrack, and making this video for ‘No Good’ was a blast.” He continued, “We shot it at United Record Press in Nashville. When we heard about Vinyl, we loved the vibe and jumped at the chance to contribute to it. As a huge fan of both Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese, it’s an honor for me personally to be a part of project that they’ve created.”
Jökull goes by the name of JJ in the US. No surprise, comments RÚV, given what a tough time Americans had pronouncing Eyjafjallajökull during the famous eruption.
