Icelandic Art at Home and Abroad

The exhibition “Vegir efnisins” (“The ways of substance”) by visual artist Thóra Sigurdardóttir, featuring photographs and illustrations, opened in the Mosfellsbaer Art Gallery yesterday.

Sigurdardóttir studied in Iceland and in Denmark and her work has been exhibited both at home and abroad. Some of her artwork is owned by public museums in Iceland and in Denmark. She has also been involved in teaching art students in Iceland.

The exhibition, which runs through March 26, is open during the opening hours of the local library on Thverholt 2, on weekdays from 12-6 pm and on Saturdays from 12-3 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.
