Icelandic actress Halla Vilhjálmsdóttir is playing one of the biggest parts in the British horror movie Ghost Machine in which she portrays a murderous ghost revenging her death. The film is currently being shot in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
“I’m in make-up for four or five hours a day and will be very gross,” Vilhjálmsdóttir said. The actress has her own combat trainer, Buster Reeves, who coached Brad Pitt in Troy and Christian Bale in Batman Begins, Morgunbladid reports.
The film is mostly shot in an old prison in Belfast. “I think it’s haunted. It’s actually an infamous prison for how many people were hanged here,” Vilhjálmsdóttir said, who played one of the dorks in Icelandic comedy Astrópía.
