Icelandic actor Björn Hlynur Haraldsson will play the part of an Italian hitman in the third season of the historical television series The Borgias created by Irish filmmaker Neil Jordan for Showtime in the US.
According to Morgunblaðið, Björn Hlynur is currently in Budapest, Hungary, where the series is being shot in a giant studio. He said he would meet Irons today and that it appeared that his role in the series would be rather extensive.
Set around the turn of the 16th century, the series follows the Borgia family, an Italian dynasty of Spanish origin. It stars English actor Jeremy Irons as Pope Alexander VI, as stated on Wikipedia.
