Icelanders likely to train locals in Kabul

Iceland will likely be responsible for training locals in Kabul, Afghanistan, to take over the operations of the Kabul airport. This is one of the conclusions reached at a meeting of the foreign ministers of NATO states, held in New York City yesterday parallel to the General Assembly of the United Nations. The meeting was held in preparation for the NATO leaders’ convention to be held in Riga, Lithuania, in November. This is reported in all the main media.
