Icelanders Choose 2010 Eurovision Entry

The song “Je Ne Sais Quoi” by Örygur Smári and Hera Björk Thórhallsdóttir received the most votes in the Icelandic Eurovision song contest final on Saturday and will be Iceland’s entry in the main contest in Norway in May.

“I feel very good right now. It was great to win this competition,” Örlygur Smári, who also wrote Iceland’s entry two years ago, told after the results were announced.

The runner-up was “One More Day” performed by Jógvan Hansen and written by Óskar Páll Sveinsson, who also wrote last year’s entry, and Bubbi Morthens. Six songs made it to the final.
