Icelander receives award at Cannes Film Festival

Yesterday, the Icelandic cinematographer Jakob Ingimundarson received the Golden Palm award in the short film selection at the Cannes Film Festival for the movie “Sniffer”.

According to Fréttabladid Jakob is 32 year old and lives in Norway and is best known in Iceland for directing the movie “Gemsar” and the

cinematography of the movie “Dís”.
