The body of a 48-year-old Icelandic citizen was discovered in a lake near Noresund northwest of Oslo yesterday after extensive search. The man had lived in Norway for many years and had a Norwegian partner.
The man was last seen on Saturday night when he was asked to leave a public bus in Noresund due to his drunken state. He had been on his way home to Hallingdal from Oslo, Morgunbladid reports.
According to the Norwegian media, the man called home but couldn’t explain where he was. When he didn’t return to his house, search teams were called out. His body was discovered around noon yesterday, around 20 meters from land.
