According to information from the Danish police, the suspect was arrested in the apartment where the victim, a 42-year-old man, was found dead. The suspect called the police himself to report the incident, Morgunbladid reports.

It appears as if the two men had a fight which ended with a violent struggle. The man who died had been stabbed in the throat numerous times with a pocket knife.

“Everything indicates that the two men were drinking [on Friday night] and had possibly taken some drugs. For some reason they got into a fight, which grew in intensity with the aforementioned consequences,” said Poul Hansen, who leads the investigation.
