The victim, Chanette Sörensen, was the mother of the shooter’s former fiancé. Einarsson owed the victim DKK 19,000 (ISK 400,000, USD 3,600, EUR 2,500), Fréttabladid reports.

Einarsson fired three shots through the window of Sörensen’s dining room window. One of the shots hit her in the head and caused her death. She died in the arms of her daughter.

The verdict states that Einarsson will be deported after serving his sentence. He has appealed the verdict.
