Icelandair announced that year-round direct flights from Toronto, Canada, to Iceland, will commence next year. Toronto will become the airline’s fifth destination in North America, joining Boston, Denver, New York and Seattle, mbl.is reports.

Direct flights between Keflavík International Airport and Toronto were established in 2008, but only run from spring to autumn, not during the wintertime.
Next winter, Icelandair will also add additional flights to Paris, increasing flights from five days a week to seven.
