Icelandair launched scheduled flights to Stavanger in Norway yesterday. The airline’s first plane to fly that route departed from Keflavík International Airport at 8 am and had a stopover in Bergen to board new passengers before continuing to Stavanger.
Roald Bersaker, an official in the county of Rogaland to which Stavanger belongs, was among the passengers from Bergen to Stavanger, Morgunbladid reports.
With this new destination, Icelandair is planning to strengthen its route schedule, not just with Icelandic passengers in mind, but also passengers from Europe and the United States.
