Icelandair delays due to London terror plot

Icelandair’s early morning flight to London Heathrow was delayed this morning as a result of the terrorist plot unearthed in the UK last night. The flight was originally delayed until 11am, but according to Icelandair spokesman Gudjón Arngrímsson authorization to that effect was later revoked, and it was uncertain when the airline’s normal schedule would resume. Meanwhile, the Iceland Express flight to London Stansted took off at the regular scheduled time this morning, or 7.15am. Morgunbladid online reports.
