Icelandair Cabin Crew Sign New Agreement

The Icelandic Cabin Crew Association and Icelandair and the Confederation of Icelandic Employers reached a wage agreement today after meeting continuously for 25 hours.

The agreement, which runs until next summer, means that a planned temporary strike by cabin crew tomorrow morning will be called off.

Guðmundur Pálsson, head of Icelandair’s negotiation committee, told that he was very happy with the agreement.

Icelandair pilots also recently signed a wage agreement with the airline.
