The Union of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in Iceland has signed a new wage agreement with Icelandair. The agreement runs until August 31, 2017, visir.is reports.
The union held a strike in June causing disruption to flights.
Director of Icelandair Björgólfur Jóhannsson said that it was positive that an agreement had been reached.
The wage agreement for the airline’s pilots expires on September 30. Collective bargaining is yet to begin.
