Iceland won against FYR Macedonia 29:27 in a dramatic game in the European Championship in Handball (EHF) in the Bank Boxen hall in Herning, Denmark this afternoon.

The top scorers from Iceland were Ásgeir Örn Hallgrímsson and Guðjón Valur Sigurðsson, both with six goals, while the top scorers on the Macedonian side were Kiril Lazarov with seven goals and Dejan Manaskov with five.
The referees were Václav Horácek, considered one of the best in international handball, and Jirí Novotný from the Czech Republic.
Iceland comes up against the European champions, Denmark, on Wednesday.
