Iceland Votes for Clinton

Donald Trump may have been elected president of the United States, but mock election results in Iceland were different, according to mbl.is. Numerous people convened last night at a public event at Hotel Nordica in Reykjavík to follow the US election. The event was hosted by the US Embassy.

Those in attendance received a ballot and were given a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. When all votes were counted, Clinton had received about 350 votes or 85 percent, while Donald Trump received 22 votes only. Fifteen people wrote the name of Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson as their choice, eight voted for First Lady Michelle Obama, and two people gave Ambassador Robert Barber their vote.
