Iceland Tops List in Robotic Milking

In 2012, 37.2 million liters, or 30 percent of all milk produced in Iceland came from the 105 farms which use robotic milking systems—a new world record.

The percentage of milk sourced from farms using robotic milking in Iceland is up from 28 percent in 2011, reports.

Denmark is second on the list with 26.5 percent of milk from farms with robotic milking, a method which is used to ensure the highest quality of milk.
