Iceland Sends “Perfect Life” to Eurovision in Serbia

Europop-techno induced “Fullkomid líf” (“Perfect Life”) received the highest number of votes in the Eurovision semi-finals in Iceland on Saturday and will thus be Iceland’s contribution to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, held in Belgrade on May 22.

The song, written by Örlygur Smári, was performed by Regína Ósk and Fridrik Ómar.

“Ho Ho Ho We Say Hey Hey Hey” by Bardi Jóhannsson performed by the Merzedes Club placed second, and “Hvar ertu nú?” (“Where Are You Now?”) by Dr. Gunni, performed by Dr. Spock placed third.
