Iceland Review Eruption Issue a Hit in Iceland

By Iceland Review

The first issue of Iceland Review in 2010 arrived at the news stands last week and was an instant hit. The magazine normally sells better outside Iceland than within the country, but this time people flocked to stores to buy it and it was the highest selling magazine in Iceland during this week. It has a 20 page special of Páll Stefánsson’s photos, an article on the eruption and one on the popular Fimmvörduháls hike.

The number of subscribers has also gone up by more than 10% in the month since the first eruption started. It is still possible to subscribe and receive that very special issue.

Our limited edition book of the eruption sold out in three days.

Finally exactly 274.000 people visited our web site during April according to Modernus, an Icelandic web analyzer.
