Páll Stefánsson, editor and photographer at Iceland Review, was awarded the coveted prize for Photo of the Year for his photo of a French woman who got lost while hiking in the West Fjords. The photo also got first prize as Portrait of the Year. The committee of seven was unanimous in its selection.
Páll Stefánsson has been with Iceland Review since 1982. He has been photo editor since 1984 and editor for the last few years. He has published numerous books on photography and won many awards in national and international competitions for his work. Congratulations Páll!
