Photographer Geir Ólafsson, who was part of the Iceland Review team traveling to the eruption site in Holuhraun, took the following video of the eruption on Wednesday.
The Iceland Review team arrived back in Reykjavík at around midday yesterday after a 15-hour trip back from the eruption site. The team had to leave after the area was evacuated due to the risk of a glacial outburst flood a possible sub-glacial eruption could cause.
