Iceland ranks 14th in Global Competitiveness Report

Iceland is 14th on the list of countries with the most competitive economy according to the Global Competitiveness Report 2006-2007, issued by the World Economic Forum. This is reported by Morgunbladid online.

Switzerland has the most competitive economy according to the report, usurping the top seat from the US, which came in sixth place after Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Singapore. A total of 125 nations are on the list.
