Iceland-Palestine Association Holds Charity Concert

The Association Iceland-Palestine organized a charity concert at Organ, a music venue in Reykjavík, on Thursday to raise money for the inhabitants of the occupied areas in Palestine. Five Icelandic bands played at the concert.

All the performers, I Adapt, Skátar, 3 Svanhvít, Retro Stefson and For a Minor Reflection, will also perform at the Iceland Airwaves music festival in October.

Specially designed T-shirts and accessories from design shop Naked Ape were sold at the venue along with the album Free Palestine containing songs with artists like Múm, Mugison, Gus Gus and KK.

The concert was also organized to bring attention to the wall Israel is constructing in the occupied areas in Palestine to separate the two nations, which according to the Iceland-Palestine Association, is a breach of international regulations.
