Iceland in India

A delegation from Iceland will be visiting India in the near future to strengthen existing business links, investigate new opportunities, and establish new businesses in the country. The meeting follows a recent announcement by the Icelandic government that an Icelandic embassy is scheduled to open in New Delhi. The leader of the delegation will be Minister for Foreign Affairs Geir Haarde.

Sixty people attended a meeting concerning the visit, which was organized by the Trade Council of Iceland. In addition to statistical information, business practices and culture differences between Iceland and India were discussed. Departure will be on 25 February, and there is still time for others to register for the trip.
