Iceland Hosts World Yoyo Contest

Two hundred competitors are registered to compete in the World Yoyo Contest which began at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík yesterday, RÚV reports. This is the first time the contest is held in Iceland.

Judges evaluate competitors in a variety of events based on expression and skill.

Preparations for the tournament have taken two years and this is only the second time it is held in Europe. Reykjavík has, however, hosted Icelandic yoyo tournaments in past years.
