Iceland Fourth on IT Index

Iceland ranks fourth in the latest IDI Development Index (information and technology development index), recently published by Geneva-based International Telecommunication Union.

South Korea ranks first, followed by Sweden and Denmark. Finland is in fifth place and Norway 13th, the only Nordic country not to make it to the top 5.

The Index ranks 155 countries on information and communication technology infrastructure and uptake.
