Car manufacturer Chevrolet has featured Iceland and Icelandic nature in their new advertisement.
The advertisement follows two friends who drive around Iceland in their SUV. The description reads: “How will the new Captiva adapt to one of the most incredible and remote locations on the planet? To find out filmmakers Charlie and Amado drove to Iceland for a once in a lifetime trip.”
The directors of Chevrolet are reportedly positive with the outcome of the ad, commenting that more projects should be filmed in Iceland in the future, visir.is reports.
Commenters on YouTube, however, have criticized the makers of the ad for what appears to be off-road driving. Off-road driving is prohibited in Iceland.
