Air Iceland runs daily trips to Greenland and transports daily consumer goods to the country.

Kristín Hjálmtýsdóttir, Director of the International Division of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce, stated there are significant opportunities in Greenland.

“There has certainly been some cooperation between companies in agriculture and fisheries, as well as tourism,” Kristín told Morgunblaðið, adding that Iceland will hold a trade fair in Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, this autumn.
