All arrivals and departures of the airline Iceland Express were at the scheduled time except one in May, a significant improvement after dismal punctuality ratings on earlier occasions. However, the airline’s performance in April was also commendable.
Icelandair was on time in the case of 90 percent of departures and 88 percent of arrivals in the first part of May, and in 91 percent and 71 percent of cases in the latter part of the month, respectively, as reported on turisti.is.
The new Icelandic airline, WOW Air, had only one scheduled flight in May and was therefore not included in the rating. However, the airline’s three departures from Keflavík International Airport since then have all been delayed.
