Iceland Express will increase its scheduled flights to London as of February 26, 2008, by two flights a week. The airline will from then on offer 11 flights to London every week. Ticket sale has begun, as announced this week.
London has been one Iceland Express’ most popular destinations since the airline was founded in 2003, and one of its two original destinations.
“More and more people travel to London for business and passengers can now travel back and forth in one day with Iceland Express, which increases the flexibility of this group considerably,” said Iceland Express CEO Matthías Imsland in a press release.
British Airways announced earlier this week that it would discontinue its scheduled flights between London to Iceland.
