Despite the devaluation of the Icelandic króna, Iceland is the eighth most expensive country in Europe when considering major household expenditures, according to a new report from Arion Bank quoted by ruv.is.

Switzerland tops the list, followed by Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Iceland is ranked tenth when it comes to the price of food and non-alcoholic drinks and third for clothes, alcohol and tobacco.
