Master chef Hilmar Jónsson will accompany the musicians and serve Icelandic seafood delicacies at cafeterias near the locations of each concert. Cod, arctic char and shrimp tacos are among dishes on the menu, icelandicmusic.is reports.

Balladeer Helgi Jónsson will perform at the Barnard College September 7-9, playing his soulful harmonies for guitar and piano.

Blues, folk and country musician Lay Low will perform at Farmingdale State College on September 14, LIU Brooklyn on September 15 and at CW Post on September 17.

Rocker Mugison is scheduled to play at Drew University September 20, NYU on September 21 and Rutgers on September 22.

The London concert, featuring Alex Metric, Factory Floor, Retro Stefson, Snorri Helgason and DJ Jerry Bouthier, will take place at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on September 9.

The “warm up” show in Akureyri, on the other hand, will take place tonight at the venue Graeni hatturinn. Performers are Bloodgroup, Endless Dark, Sjálfsprottin spévísi and Buxnaskjónar. Admission is free and doors open at 10 pm.
